I was at the beach yesterday, and I dropped my camera on the beach. Now whats happening when I try and turn it on, the lens come out, but it instantly turns back off. Now i looked at the on/off button, and surronding it was some sand particles. What can I do to get these sand particles out, without breaking the camera button? Because when I look at the button, it seems to be pushed in. Can someone help with this problem? I’ll take any suggestions. By the way, my camera is a Kodak M1063. Thank you so very much!

I can’t figure out what is wrong!!! Okay so normally whe you want to put pictures on your computer from your camera you just take your card and stick it in the slot and then a thing pops up and you just click upload and your set. Correct? Thats how it used to be for me too but now when I put the card in the slot it doesn’t read it! (my camera is a Kodak Easyshare M1063, I think, atleast thats what it says on the bottom. And the card is a SanDisk 4gig. It says SD in the corner and under that is a HC) It’s been doing this for a while so then we decided we’d try using the USB chord that came with the camera. I KNOW that since the computer started not reading the card we’ve uploaded pictures but now I can’t get it to work! I plug in the chord and the litle light comes on my camera to indicate that it’s charging. So then I open my pictures folder and on the side it says upload pictures from camera or scanner. So I click on that and then a message comes up that says please turn camera on, so I do that and then another message says that its scanning the camera or whatever. But then it says it can’t do it because the camera is in use. So I turn it off and try again but then it says turn the camera on! I don’t know what to do and I can’t remember what we did last time! Please help! Also if it matters we have a Dell and the program is Windows XP. Thanks

I accidentally stepped on my camera, and the lens/zoom thing is stuck inside..Please HELP!!!?
When I press the On button it makes a motion to get out , but then stays in the camera. And the lens isn’t in the middle anymore. WHat do i do? My mom doesn’t know about. I was going to call and ask Best Buy, and try to pay for it myself, or use the manufacturers warranty since i just got the camera. It is Kodak EasyShare M1063
My mom’ll freak. It doesnt seem that hard to fix anyway. seems like you just need to open, and push the lens over and it’ll be fine. I wood do it myself but I don’t want to make it worse. Oh and the screen doesn’t turn on. The on light turns green then off.

I got a Kodak EASYSHARE M1063 for a gift and I need a good SD memory card to go with it! One that holds a lot of pictures! I’m not really sure how SD cards work but recommendations would help! Thanks!

When I plug in my Kodak M1063 camera to my computer and onto the Kodak Easyshare software, it will upload most of the pictures, but some random ones will be missing. It irritates me because no matter how hard I try it doesn’t upload those pictures. I tried deleting all the pics on the memory card except the ones that didn’t upload, and then re-uploading it, but no success. Can anyone help with what’s going on?
